Inspiration was sparked from the keys on a piano (Luke's main instrument) and that led to my pulling and stretching of typography - kids, don't try this at home! The idea of each artist being able to use the poster to feature themselves is why I did the inverted set ups. There was something fun about the flipping of the orientation and how all of these various posters, when massed out, looked like bright colorful wallpaper all around the city.
Printing on the RISO allows such freedom and you must embrace the unexpected!
